How we handle your data.

1. Who is responsible

The controller for this website and for the services offered on it is Lumora Media LLC, 30 N Gould St Ste N, Sheridan, WY 82801, USA. You can reach us on WhatsApp at +49 172 7085332 or by post at the address above.

2. Visiting this website

When you open a page, your browser sends technical data to our hosting provider: your IP address, date and time, the page requested, the referring page, and browser and device information. This data is needed to deliver the website, keep it secure and detect misuse. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in a secure, working website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

The website is hosted by Vercel Inc., 440 N Barranca Ave #4133, Covina, CA 91723, USA. Our domain name is resolved through the DNS service of Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend St, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA. Server logs are kept by Vercel for a limited period according to its own retention rules.

3. No cookies, no tracking

This website sets no cookies and uses no analytics, advertising or tracking tools. Fonts and images are served from our own server, so no third party font or image service is contacted when you visit.

4. Contact on WhatsApp

The WhatsApp buttons are plain links. No data is sent to WhatsApp until you click one. When you do, WhatsApp opens with a prepared message, and the conversation is handled by WhatsApp. In the EU, WhatsApp is provided by WhatsApp Ireland Limited, Merrion Road, Dublin 4, D04 X2K5, Ireland, part of Meta. WhatsApp processes your phone number, profile details and messages under its own privacy policy, and data may be transferred to the USA.

We use what you send us, such as your name, phone number, store URL, screenshots and your description of the situation, to answer your enquiry, prepare an offer and carry out the service you book. The legal basis is the performance of a contract or steps before a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). If you prefer not to use WhatsApp, you can contact us by post.

5. Working on your store

For a Storecheck we read the public pages of your store. For a fix or a store build you invite us to your Shopify store and install our custom app, and you invite us to your Merchant Center account. We never ask for passwords or access to your Google or email account. If this access includes personal data your store holds, for example customer or order data, we use it only as far as the agreed service requires and only on your instructions.

6. How long we keep data

Enquiries that do not lead to an order are deleted when they are no longer needed. Data from orders is kept for as long as the service and its follow-up require and, where applicable, for the periods that commercial and tax law prescribe for business records.

7. Transfers outside the EU

Lumora Media LLC is based in the USA, and our hosting provider is a US company. Personal data is therefore processed in the USA. Where data is sent to us to answer your enquiry or to provide a service you requested, this is necessary for that contract or those steps before it.

8. Your rights

You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing and data portability, and the right to object to processing based on legitimate interests (Art. 15 to 21 GDPR). To use these rights, write to us on WhatsApp or by post. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, for example the one where you live.

9. Changes

Customer accounts and online payments are not active on this website yet. When they are introduced, this notice will be updated before they go live.
